SFM had a wonderful time at the Real Food Festival this weekend. We hosted twenty schools from across London and all the students enjoyed the smells and tastes of this wonderful festival. But the most exciting moment, of course, was the tasting of our competition sausages! Our three finalists, Edwalton Primary, Oathall Community College and Thomas Alleyne's High presented their sausages to our panel of experts - Raymond Blanc, Lawrence Dallaglio, Willie Harcourt-Cooze and Rosie Boycott - and the winner was .... Thomas Alleyne's. Well done to all the schools involved and a big thank you to our generous competition sponsors, Mears, who will now work with each of our finalists to create a wonderful addition to their farms.
