SFM just had the pleasure of lunch at The Clink - a restaurant inside HMP High Down in Surrey. The project is the brainchild of chef, Alberto Crisci MBE and shows what can be achieved with a clear vision and lots of passion. The vegetables at the restaurant are grown by inmates and the food prepared by inmates, who get the opportunity to achieve national catering qualifications, to gain work experience and guidance into full time employment. All the furniture in the beautiful dining room is constructed by inmates and each piece signed by the man who made it. And the food is delicious!
