Omelettes come in all shapes and sizes but only 'home-grown' omelettes are allowed through to this year's final of our competition for schools. The wonderful Tom Aikens will be on hand at the Real Food Festival to test and taste the four shortlisted recipes and with a panel of expert judges will announce the winner of the Grow your own Omelette competition. Grey Court School, Warriner School, Hampton Hill Junior and Edwalton Primary will be nervously awaiting the results on Thursday at 12 noon. All the ingredients in their festival-worthy omelettes have been grown at school - that includes the eggs! May the best omelette win.
