Thank you to the School Food Trust for a lovely evening to celebrate the work of Prue Leith in her role as Chair of the trust. Ed Balls was there to pay tribute to Prue's commitment to the task of transforming school food. The Chair will be announced shortly.
Delightful canapes were prepared and served by children from a local Let's Get
Cooking group and they clearly loved every minute of their challenge.
Thanks also to the incredibly tenacious Jackie Schneider who managed to snap the photo of Prue, Judy Hardigan and Ed Balls just seconds before leaping over a table to deliver a hand written plea to Mr Balls, urging him to stop product placement on UK TV. A glorious sight to behold!
