Thank you to Jan Pancheri for these lovely photos of the 'Magic Veggies' gardeners. The children of St Matthew's CE Primary teamed up with Jan at Westminster Abbey and they now meet regularly in the College Garden to grow vegetables. The group of year 5s and 6s wanted to name their newly registered Capital Growth space and came up with 'Magic Veggies' - a name that certainly reflects the experience of gardening in this very magical place.
Yesterday the team got busy weaving willow into supports for their beans and enjoyed being able to work outside after their last session in February when they were faced with a blizzard!
