Food Education at its best ...

Sheen Mount Primary School sowed seed, tended and harvested their pumpkins, then presented them to the school's harvest festival.  But it doesn't stop there.  The Secret Gardening Club will now deliver their pumpkins to the school cook, Janine, so that she can roast them for the weekly roast dinner.  In doing this the group has touched on science, citizenship, healthy eating, sustainable schools and will end up with a lovely lunch too!  Well done Sheen Mount ...
