I am delighted to report that I was chosen as a finalist in the Consumer Action category of the prestigious Sheila McKechnie Awards. The awards ceremony was held today at St Martin-in- the-Fields, Trafalgar Square and was hosted by Jon Snow.
The SMK Foundation said "The Judges were really impressed with how you had taken a life experience and turned it into such a strong and great campaign. They also found the educational element of your campaign a really interesting and unique aspect to it. I would also like to add that they were truly blown away by your passion and commitment to your cause, and the progress you have made so far."
