Kingston Council

In amongst all the excitement this week, was a meeting with the good folk at Kingston Council about their school food contract. Tim Woodhead (Contracts Manager) came along to Sustain's contracts seminar last week and was encouraged by tales of successful sustainable public food models in other sectors.  Tim, Matthew Howell-Hughes from Environmental Services and Charis Penfold from Education and I talked about the possibility of setting up a working party to look at Kingston's school food contract.  Hopefully we can look forward to some productive partnership working.
